Decorative Metallizing
Our decorative metallizing process looks very similar to chrome electroplating, but is a far more environmentally friendly option. The method we use for coating plastic and metal parts is also less expensive for achieving a "Chrome Like" appearance.
At VP Vacuum Platers we provide a variety of decorative finishes, including chrome, gold and brass.
Equipment used in the decorative process:
- Two Large 84" Vacuum Chambers
- Four Conveyorized Bake Ovens for various temperatures and coatings
- Three Automatic Spray Machines
- Two Deco Model 128 Flowcoaters with Rotational Control
- One uniform dyeing system for simulating gold, brass and other colors
