EMI / RFI Shielding
We provide EMI/RFI shielding on electrical components including medical, computer, cell phone and entertainment devices. This Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process has been UL listed, and is effective in the 60 to 100 dB frequency range.
Metallized injection molded plastic can be used in place of more expensive metal enclosures to provide shielding from electronic interference or emissions in electronics.
Vacuum Platers uses near pure aluminum, vaporized under vacuum pressure, to provide a uniform and effective EMI/RFI barrier. Aluminum is the most cost efficient and environmentally sound material used in the industry today.
Testing is done on each lot using Adhesion Standard ASTM 3359. Ohms readings per square inch are taken to determine shielding effectiveness up to our customers' quality standards.
